The Hire Intern Program places dozens of skilled and experienced students in internships each quarter. The majority are New Canadian IT Professionals - usually they have had trouble finding work in Canada because of poor language skills and (more often) lack of Canadian experience.

Our training program first assures that their language skills are up to par and second that they are able to adapt to the Canadian way of working.

We are constantly on the lookout for companies to host these interns. We need companies to host database administrators, network administrators, java developers, web designers, software programmers, industrial designers and much more.

All interns are paid at a stipend of $200 - $300 per week. They work full time and their internship lasts 8 - 12 weeks. At the end of the internship you will have the option of hiring your intern permanently at a low staffing rate.

To host an intern you will need to meet the following requirements:

• A commercial office (as opposed to a home-based office)
• A staff of at least 5
• You must have been in business at least 1 year
• Ability to supervise the intern
• Willingness to complete monthly internship reports
• Open to hiring the intern at the end of their program
